Interesting. Well, there are only so many variables, which means there are only so many things it could be. I doubt the issue is the OEM Glock 17 magazine… I think we can strike that one. That leaves the PSA Dagger, or the Brownells mag release. Maybe I got a mag release that slipped by QA/QC. I doubt it is the Dagger – the pistol worked fine with the mag release that came stock on it.
