Piestewa was definitely more like stairs. It had a pretty clearly defined path and was a pretty consistent ascent the whole way up, unlike Camelback. There are mostly rocks to step on but there is also gravel too. We didn’t think this was difficult in terms of technique but more so in terms of stamina.
